At Sofitel Phnom Penh, summer means enjoying the pool, plenty of outdoor activities...and art workshops for the younger ones. Cambodian artists Kanha, Sereyrath and Kimsreang will make artistic creativity rhyme with fun!
For a whole week, kids will alternate badminton, tennis table, swimming, squash and FUN ART WORKSHOPS:
- 19 July, mixed media (painting on photo), by Kanha Hul
A young visual artist, Kanha (1999, Kralanh)has exhibited her painted photographs in various venues, and her work is currently on display at Penh Art Festival (FT Gallery, Factory Phnom Penh) and at SA'ART Gallery.
- 21&22 July, technique and art of photography, by Sereyrath Mech
Since participating in the Travel Photo Competition at Waashington, D.C., Fathom Gallery in 2016, Sereyrath (1993, Phnom Penh)has directed and/or produced various films and documentaries.
- 23 July, collage composition with recycled material, by Lim Kimsreang
Also known as KS Blu, Kimsreang (1997, Phnom Penh) is one of the most promising emerging artists in Cambodia. She loves to share her artistic skills and vision with children, as she recently did during Artcation sessions at 4Rivers Floating Resort and in Battambang.
19-23 July 2021, Artcation Kids Corner at Sofitel Phokeetra Summer Camp.
Workshops will be held daily, 8:30-11 AM and 12:30-2:30 PM
