Is it real? Is it a dream? Few photographers have this knack of capturing magic, poetry and transcendence in the mundane acts of human life or in the natural realm. Until end of January 2022, La Mo's solo exhibition at The Gallery-Sofitel Phnom Penh ,which opened 6 Nov. 2021, invites you to a journey to "Unseen Cambodia", a world beyond the world.
At Anicca Foundation, we discovered this world according to La Mo in 2014, one decade after this unassuming, congenial artist had started to pursue photography as "a favorite hobby, or let's say passion". Since then, La Mo (1977, Siem Reap) has been recognized with prestigious Sony World Photography Awards (2017 and 2018)and the National Awards and Canon Photo Marathon Asia Championship 2018.
