Starting Dec 1st, 2020, 4Rivers Floating Lodge welcomes for 10 days a young Cambodian art creator. Interacting with the guests through daily workshops, she will realize artworks and helps awakening the artist in you!
In these difficult times, solidarity and creativity are paramount to our well-being. Anicca Foundation, created by Marina Pok in 2016 with the aim of promoting the works of confirmed and upcoming Cambodian artists, is happy to announce the start of the Artist Residency Program supported by 4 Rivers Lodge on the Tatai River, the first eco-floating resort in Asia.
Supporting and developing connections between the hospitality industry and the Art communities in Cambodia and Southeast Asia, we are proud and glad to propose our Artist Residency Pilot Project at 4Rivers, Koh Kong Province, starting in December 2020.
The first selected artist is Leng Kimsreang ឡេង គឹមស្រៀង(KS Blu). Born in 1997 in Phnom Penh, a graduate 2020 at Royal University of Fine Arts in interior design, Kimsreang likes to use innovative supports such as recycled paper to depict social realities and the evolution of people's lives. She participated in the group exhibition "Message in Mind" in 2019 and joined in the program "Breath", a SaSa Art Project.
Anicca Foundation will suggest further art creators to residences in fine hotels around Cambodia. If you are interested, please contact us with a short written project.
